Title: VW BEETLE WANTED - New shape around 99-02

Post by: CD17 on April 25, 2013, 12:41 PM: I had a 98 one of these a US Import, diesel & fully loaded, I got it for almost nothing, it has the sills crushed :( the drivers window didn't work & the some problem with the glow plugs, but got everything sorted & used it for three or four years. It's just the boot size was terrible so it had to go 8)

2.0lt 2000 - silver / summer winter pack - leather heated seats (great for the cold times) hot leather not so) sunroof /AC

boot too small and odd shape

electric problems - bulbs - indicator - engine management light was cut without us knowing at time of buying ~ year later fuel was out and lamba sensor gone and no warning light (fecking garage that sold it to us :2gunsfiring_v1: - yer try taking it back and telling them without them saying it's a year later and they didn't do it ::) :knuppel2:)

not the best of cars for sure - works but I would have chosen some thing different

not a drivers car - not really a car to cruz unless you throw shed loads of money at it (like pic above )
