Title: Limited edition wethepeople Irish, FINISHED 11/05/13
Post by: Jaymz on April 23, 2013, 08:30 PM: So after being nagged for two years by a local rider to sell him my KHE, I finally caved and swapped it for his, which has turned out to be one of thirty frame sets produced, it's not for everyone as its a 20.4tt made for my short ass, only colour makes it limited edition and its transparent green, but still future collectible for sure

I have one small problem, my current new school wheels, brake lever, sprocket are all blue :( I have another set of wheels with black rims and anno green hubs but I broke the back axel

New boots and an Oddy mono lever

Just need to add a chain, pedals and calliper and it's rideable, weighs in at 20.5lbs so far, I reckon 6lb of that is the demolition cranks!!!

ps - did you sort the rear hub out then btw ???
funny story about the front tyre, new tube new tyre, inflated to a meagrely 65psi, dropped the front end down and boom, exploded the tyre off the rim, must've pinched it in the rim or something.

Got a black chainring for it, and bought the back wheel, came off a diamond alt, joy tech hub laced to an Alex rim, only shltter is its a 48spoke not a 36, didn't realise

Rob, I've got an Oddy evo l calliper to go on it, bit old but reliable, want to change the stem to black, even though the verde stem is lush as it has no pinch bolts on the back and looks clean, it's polished alloy is clashing a bit for me

I've got enough parts to make it work, it's on a bike ready for the hereford ride tomorrow so will strip it off soon

I've since put the black cult gips on these bars, looks cool.

Going for a crank swap next, the beastly sized demolition cranks are going in favour of my wethepeople royals in raw, reckon I will save a pound in weight
