The bike's ok but the price...fookin stoopid. That said, its worth what someone is prepared to spend, I still remember the tale of Tom from Kasabian spunking 10K on a supposed MGM original ET Krapahara.

Would I be really thick if I asked the question: 'What does 24/26 mean?' is it not either a 24" or a 26"?

It is a seriously beautiful bike though.  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

It is a nice looking bike, but that is stupid money, I don't care how rare a bike is $14,000 is way too much.

Especially when that frame has been re-anodised and has repop decals on it.

26 front and 24 rear, the OM started this off with a 24/26 OM flyer. Think it was a comfort / handling thing  :daumenhoch:

It's cheaper than Adam's Woody replica  Trickstar cost to build though isn't it  :-\ I could be wrong , I didn't hear direct from Adam  :-\

As regards the Nomura cruiser ,it's same with any rarer collectable items whether it's  cars, bikes etc .

Sellers/traders  put a very  ambitious  price out there and then serious interested parties (obsessive lunatics  :D)  contact them with an offer at maybe 70 % of the asking price and negotions go from there  ::)

In this case if it sold at 75% of the asking price , that would still be £6727 sterling :Great_Britain:

It's very expensive ,,,,but certainly not unbelievable that some  collector who needs it  :D  would pay that  ::)

But then you've got to pay postage   :-\  and can you imagine the customs charge on that beast  :crazy2:  :LolLolLolLol:

It's a nice bike and rare too but if i was spending £10k on something with two wheels it would have a bloody engine in between my legs  :D

I've never really liked these as I've always thought the down tube was too big for the bike but the bigger the bike gets (24" & 26") the more the big down tube seems to suit the bike and the better they look and this is no exception.  OS goodness at it best.  :smitten: :smitten:

I find it kinda funny he gets called out on the re-finished frame & repop decals , like he was thinking he'd gloss over those points  ;D ( guys like Truly Odd , Greyboy and many others over there know their shit ) .

I was speaking to someone yesterday who has 6 Nomuras about this and the fact that this one is "original" but with re pop decals and new paint is a bit of a joke. Yes Mr Nomura raced it but that only holds a certain amount of weight and no way does it add that amount of $$$$$to the bike.
Agreed with those mentioned Matt, they really know what their onions on pretty much all things OS BMX  :daumenhoch:

Same for me Dave, can't have love for ugly bikes that were nothing from my childhood. It's all about the money the last years, seems a lifetime ago buying my first old school bike in 2000.
I bet biagio is gutted, if hd had sat on all that gear for six years he would have quadrupled his money or more.
