Title: Trickstar 2 squareback
Post by: oldschoolace on April 29, 2013, 10:39 PM
Immediate thoughts.... yes or no?

My poorly trickstar 2 needs new chainstays as its been butchered in its previous life and someone thought they could strengthen them with a small rib of steel underneath  :'(

I have looked into replacing them but it strikes me it may be an opportunity to try something different... like a squareback with a master style platforms  :D

Thinking of maybe running square tubing the full length of the chainstays and on into the triangle section where they would taper to a narrow profile to form reinforced drop slots  :-\
