Immediate thoughts.... yes or no?
My poorly trickstar 2 needs new chainstays as its been butchered in its previous life and someone thought they could strengthen them with a small rib of steel underneath :'(

I have looked into replacing them but it strikes me it may be an opportunity to try something different... like a squareback with a master style platforms :D

Such a shame, I love these frames (used to hate them) wish id got one from Alans when they were £199 :'(

It will make a good TV aerial :LolLolLolLol: :daumenhoch:

Aha.....another project then :daumenhoch:
I thought i'd hit the nail on the head too lol. Tis a real shame about your Trickstar though Clint :(
Are you thinking of completely modifying the rear end?
-
Thinking of maybe running square tubing the full length of the chainstays and on into the triangle section where they would taper to a narrow profile to form reinforced drop slots :-\
-
the rear end is what makes it such a fugly frame!give it a looptail like the original TS :daumenhoch:
