Was on the phone to Alan Woods of (Alans BMX) today, I'd actually just called to get a new set or brakes sorted, anyway Alan used to be a customer of mine back when i was the sales rep Quicksilver & Etnies (not sen him for years) but we got chatting about business & he told me that he's just got back from a long weekend in Wisconsin with his son & they were there to see the guy who has the rights to Hutch .
Apparently there are plans to basically re launch the brand & release a complete new range of race freestyle bikes & parts including a (new Trickstar) potentially next year.
Alan has done the deal to do the EU distribution & mentioned that he had one of these new frames at the shop (didn't say which model come to think of it) but if people wanted to go & see it i think he said it would be there this saturday.
Anyway just though i'd drop this bit of information for all of you hutch fans ( you might have already known this ) . I wont be able to get up to Wigan on Saturday but would be really interested to see what this is like as he was raving about the quality & I'm all for the re birth of a brand like Hutch So i'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with !!

So thats the guy who's in charge of Alan's psychedelic packaging :D, received several of their seatpost monsters - still have 'em :)

I went and saw all this Hutch gear today, the frame is not a retro fun bike its an all out race frame built from butted tubes the works. He mentioned he is going to get Racer kitted out with Hutch gear. The bars are also butted 28 x 8 and look proper tidy. Hes got Kashi aeros with the hutch stamp, donut seat clamps padsets, powerdiscs, camp type heaset and pedals - albeit just a sample stock. Its all quality gear for sure.

Yeah theyve been on there for ages but Alan will be distributing them now. The frames are still in production just a first bact of 100 of something for now til later in the year.

I actually like them, but enough is enough on the ole spendage front for me (for a while anyway) Fancy a nice holiday.......... :daumenhoch:

Im the same at the minute just bought an S&M speedwagon frame but really want one of these Hutch Pro's when the next batch are made...

Book a trip to China and you'll be able to pick up lots of repro cr@p at source. Cut out the greedy middle men. :daumenhoch: ;D

He told me the whole lot, he'd have to as he's representing & distributing the Brand in Europe.

Hes got a couple of most things already as samples, give him a bell and see if hes priced them yet. I know the restock of the frames are a while off yet but the parts should be flowing id imagine.

If the wait is anything like the other repop Hutch gear JDB is doing prepare for a long wait; best put up the camp bed!
