Title: SR Sakae ms-500
Post by: RichG41 on May 05, 2013, 10:19 PM
Hi

I bought an 84 Pro Performer a while back and I've recently changed the stem it came with for a Pro Neck, I'd not come across this model before but I'm now building my son a Curtis Expert and wondered if this model (ms-500) would have been era correct (84/85). I'll post a photo shortly but thought someone may know just from the model number.

Thanks in advance

Rich

Rich

Is that the stem that is hinged at the front?  If so I think they are from 1985 onwards.

Hi

Thanks for reply

Yes it is the one that is hinged at the front, I'd not seen one before so I presume they're not that popular?

I guess it wouldn't look too out of place on an 84 Curtis Expert .....

Thanks

Rich

It would look great on a 84 Curtis Expert.
