Title: 2nd Gen London Ride.
Post by: Mark1 on May 08, 2013, 12:01 PM
Can i start off by saying that this was in no way organized to compete or try to replace the original London rides that we all enjoy. It evolved through a few of us discussing that we would like to see a bit more of London by BMX and cover as many miles and visit as many places as we can.  We will arrange another at some point and will post a few dates up to see who would like to join us. The ride was about 20 miles taking in Southbank, Stockwell, Vauxhall, Hyde Park, Trafalgar amongst other places. The three of us had a really good chilled(yes you read that right......3!)out day riding round seeing lots of London you wouldnt normally see. The highlights for me was the Graffiti park around Stockwell with some guys working on their art and also the skate park at Stockwell, which had a really cool vibe with a big sound system set up and ages of people skating/riding ranging from 5 to 50. Thanks to Chris and Mo for a really good day. Not a big picture taker but heres a few from the day.

I think the pictures make it look worse than it is. The Graffiti walls actually seem to be a designated area for them to use. We were there for over an hour and didnt get mugged or nuffin :LolLolLolLol:

The Villain i bought of some kid who rode past me, stacked it, kicked it, so i offered him £20 for it. Took it home, cleaned it all up, derusted it. It came out really well. I gave it to my mate Chris to ride and he loves it. Heavy as fook!
