Title: Kids 18" wheel Bmx recommendations
Post by: hazzajoe on May 08, 2013, 10:49 PM
My son has outgrown his little ripper so I'm looking for suggestions for a bigger 18 wheel replacement. He has a race bike for racing. This bike would get used in the street, skatepark and small trails . He's a smallish 9 year old that is just too big for the lil ripper.

Have a look at a Subrosa Tiro a super strong frame and reasonably light with some half decent parts. :daumenhoch:

Give Dave (Stodgy) a ring he does some good deals and he price matches aswell. :daumenhoch:

I got my boys 18" Fit's. They are rad. This photo was when they first got them. My boys have grown a bit now but they are still riding the 18". I put bigger bars on my bigger Lads bike but for skatepark/track use they are still too small for 20" bikes

(Although United are making some really nice, small framed 20" BMXs to try and fill the gap between 18"s and 20"s)
