Title: My Grail 88 BEAT (They're like buses) LOL :-)
Post by: pickle on May 12, 2013, 11:56 AM: Well after being lucky enough to get hold of a black 88 as a rider i also picked up a lovely blue one. sods law i then got offered another and after seeing Mike Canning riding his red one the seed was sown. It got shipped off to Dan who worked his usual magic, then Del did his as well and the start of a factory build was under way. It wasn't till i took a close look at the spec i realised this was not going to be an easy (or cheap) build, but hey.........i'd never done a factory build before but the frame and forks demanded it.

I know these aren't everyones cuppa tea so no worries if you don't like it ;D but i love it! and i'm so so happy with how it's turned out.

Some big thanks to....

Nick (Gashead) for the frame n forks + NOS bars
Poolysherrif for the cranks
Bobbsy for the pedals, i really struggled to find these but i'm sure it was Bobbsy who i got them from
SBD for his awesome work on the frame
Del for the superb decals (as usual)
Steveredvxr for tipping me off to some of the bits on US ebay and generally putting up with my endless texts and emails ;D

But i guess finding the bits is all the fun hey :daumenhoch:
