Title: Letraset for DC FS 880s...
Post by: Jaan on May 22, 2013, 10:14 AM: I've got a restored set of DC FS 880s and I want to restore the white Dia Compe. Has anyone ever tried to use Letraset transfers or have any other tips (other than freehand)?

spray with white paint .. let it go off..

remove the masking and the gentle polish off the over spray with brasso...

you will be left with nice crisp lettering..... :daumenhoch:

Post by: Gnarlyscoots on May 22, 2013, 10:41 AM: The way it was done bitd, they painted the lettering first, removed the excess then had them anno-d as annodising doesn't remove the paint.

Just be as careful as you can and remove the excess with T-Cut, Brasso etc etc...... :coolsmiley:

I found a make called DECAdry had a good range too :daumenhoch:
