Title: Mongoose Pro Class Wheel Rebuild / Spokes
Post by: oldschoolstreak on May 31, 2013, 09:29 AM
Hi Guys

Looking for some advice on re spoking my Pro Class Rims.

I have just collected them from being polished and re annodised and now want to re spoke them but I `m not sure which spokes are correct for the year or type of rim.

They are the normal, 36 hole, Pro Class rims, from a Supergoose 3, not hard annodised or chrome, they are the polished and clear annodised type. The hubs are low flange Suzue, the front looks slightly smaller than the back and are normal alloy not Chrome.

Should I be using normal Stainless Steel spokes or somewhere I read they should be Chrome on a Supergoose 3 ?

Does anyone know what size of spoke I should use as the front hub looks smaller than the back ?

Any advice would be much appreciated !!

Cheers..

I'll measure mine later for you. I think the same size will do both and be a bit short for one and a bit long on the other.
