I'd given up building , ;D Then this came up . Thanks Dazza ... :daumenhoch:
Chuck Robinson started with DG the moved on to LRV ( leisure recreational vehicles ) before he set up RRP on 1st march 1978 , you can see the Robinson influence in this frame .. Poor thing needs a lot of work...
I've only seen a couple with the gusset stamped ... The other weird thing is I've never seen one with the same forks ??? ... They had the prismatic LRV decal that Chuck carried on with the RRP decal till 1979 ..
I'm not even sure what year it is 1977 ? With the flat brake plate ...

Carl,
You know I love my Robinsons, hell I am near double figures now but there is only one person that came to mind when he LRV was offered to me and I remember you have mentioned these to me a few times even at Chester last week.
DG's a top bloke for letting this go and all the Robbo guys will wait for this beauty to be treated to a Carlos special build like all your bikes are :4_17_5:
Carl it's a pleasure :daumenhoch:

Radtor 2.
Rules are simple...for R2
You must come on a Robinson, Torker or PK Ripper ... If you own one, however if you ain't got one you can still come but must face a forfit...
"Go in the stocks and we will throw Pie's at you..... :LolLolLolLol:

BADDH and NORTY40 pulled some serious submission moves that night!?! Thanks a lot though lads.... it's been good dealing with you!
As for the LRV- I was looking forward to restoring it, but I have little time and money and too many commitments. At least I know it's going to a good home!

BADDH called around earlier for the frame and the Suntour stem, I also gave him the MX1000 fitting kit that I told you about.... you'll have to ask him for it!
I'll mark the Wigan ride down on the calander.... I'll try and make it out this time! ;)
