Cool. Would love to see this built up pretty much as is but with a couple of parts changed :4_17_5:

I am thinking it will stay similar set up as is now. Only problem is finding nice 1 3/8 comp 3.
Think I may put my spare 400's on it.
Any ideas how to remove the pad with out ripping the poppers from the material?

Finding nice comp III 1 3/8 will be tough....But I have a NOS set, I'm waiting to try them on a build and if it looks right I'll keep them on it but if not I'll be letting them go. :daumenhoch:

Lol!!!
Awesome help guys!!
Tried the scissors but not sharp enough so I've gut the top tube out with a metal cutting disc. Only a thin blade at .8 of a mm so should be able to weld her up a treat.
Just need some p38 and who will know when I plastic coat the frame red!!

That's ace, leave it as is!!! I'd just change the seat & grips, sorted!!!!

Black Shadow. Shipped to hot wheels 1st June 1983.
Great basics there. Got some tyres I could throw on it but need some nos ones if I restore it. Guys on museam are saying leave it as it is because it tells a story rather than another mint show bike.
Got decals on the patt now. And got some box cranks and an ESP stem. Where can I get a pad set?
