I got my frame back from the repairers and have started to wonder if I should finally paint my bike, or continue to leave it raw?
I did get the post Zinc plated, which while it was "ok" .... wasnt a finish I was entirely happy with.
So what do you think?
Leave as or paint ..... and if paint, what colour?

what is that ???
and raw i think..
i heard if you heat up the joints it makes the metal go multicolour and that,
which is class.... but probably weakens your fame :-\
-
Stay raw, and need more info on this beast
-
This is just my "Rider".
What info are you guys after?
-
:wtf: is it..?
-
...like if you hop down a set of stairs .... do you have to go to the hospital
i kinda like it .... it's like a danish designer's take on bmx .....
-
Its primarily designed for flatland (and its 4130 to boot).
In terms of strength, Its held up very well so far (over a year)
And I think if I remember correctly, each chainstay can hold 300 kilos?
So there is no fear in that sense.
-
:daumenhoch: cool
it's nice just the way it is. But i think it might also look good in a sort of washed out stealthy flat greyish-black ^"^
-
so its home made then..?
-
More so custom made for me by a french frame / parts maker.
He also made my bar/stem combo , seat post, Headset lock etc.
-
is the seatpost fixed to the frame or is there a clamp underneath?
-
very nice thatr mate i really like it :daumenhoch:
-
it being so minimalistic and techno, it should actually stay raw
.... or smth completely insane ..... neon .... oh wait, i know: ....... forget neon - although that would interest me to see that - :
..... think grape soda :yahoo_silent: :smiley6600:

It's a custom made 34.9mm x 400mm 4130 CrMo seat post with pivotal base.
The frame itself has a built in seat clamp (strawberry style)
-
I like it - very Jad-a-like :daumenhoch:
And leave it bear-metalz or get it candy-coated over raw - blue candy?
-
Cheers to all those who replied.
At the time of design, this was partially based around the Raleigh Budgie.
As this was the first bike I started to do tricks on as a kid .... (A BMX bike cost too much money at the time)
