Title: It's been a long time.....
Post by: munners on June 30, 2013, 06:07 PM: Hello everyone....OMG. I cannot believe the conversation i had today with a current member. I was told Rad was back open and was prepared to give everyone who messed up a chance to join in again.

I missed this place. If i am honest i sold everything when Rad and i parted company. All i have left is an original black Piranha which is complete bar the wheels, a headset and a BB.

I really miss my bikes and it is my biggest regret selling them. My business partner bought Lee's (PKradmans) entire collection so i still have the pleasure of seeing the best of old skool bmx everyday. A nice reminder but nothing beats building your own.

Anyway.....i promise i will be good, wont upset anyone and i cant see me getting back into the scene like i did back then. Life moves on and i just hope that i can enjoy this site like i used to.

I just hope that the powers of be don't hit that ban button :LolLolLolLol:

I still check ebay every now and again but nothing on there is ever any good. Is everyone keeping their stash? Prices still ridiculous?

Yes that was mine. I found it on ebay. The boy who listed it's Dad was the welder of all TRM's. The owner of TRM gave the Dad 2 framesets to give to his 2 sons. The eldest boy built his and the youngest was too young to be interested in bikes so the frameset was left in the loft.

He eventually pulled it out of the loft and ebayed it. I was on it in a flash and i paid around £500 for it. When it arrived i was gobsmacked. It was gleaming and had not even an ounce of surface rust anywhere. The decals were mint.

I sold that to. I think Danny Whiteley bought it from me. I would like to see it again.

Did you collect it ? Do you know where he lived?

This story has a bit of a twist, my mate (whos dad owned Stechford Cycles) contacted the family you bought it from to see if there were any remaining frame sets,he was told
yeah my brothers got some but he,s in Spain, well they obviouslyrealised what they where worth,and he lost contact with them.

Also I think the same man,the welder,worked at Ansells brewery with my father in law :daumenhoch:

I have checked all my feedback and there is no mention of the item. He ended the auction early so he wouldn't have left it.

Also my messages in ebay do not go back that far.

The story i have told you is exact mate. I cannot remember the guys name.
