Title: My, I'm not going to MK build is now finished.
Post by: kungfunky on July 03, 2013, 09:25 PM: Had intentions of getting this finished and take it along to MK but as most know I'll not be there :yahoo_silent:

Anyway, I got the frame a long time ago and did nothing with it until recently. It had about 1" of black,red,blue powder/paint on it so that had to go, I stripped it and found it was a PK2 serial making it a 79 so that was a major bonus :4_17_5:
Already had the gen 1 LG's stripped and stashed away in storage so figured they'd work well on it. Other than the new Helix cages for the Reedy pedals everything is and will be original finish :daumenhoch:

Kashimax super saddle OG
400's original chrome and decals
Cebe clamp OG
SE power wings OG
Toadstool grips
MX 1000 caliper OG and stamped 79
Diacompe red dot lever
Comp III front
Comp II rear
Gen 1 7b rims OG
Sunshine hubs OG
Gen 1 SE pads

Still need to make a couple of changes (not 100% on the lever) and can't decide on which chain and brake blocks. Tan decals will go on it with a few period decals here and there 8)

The wife decided 8 months ago to get preggers so just before MK little Little will be arriving, If I get there it'll only be for a few hours on Sunday and will probably be bikeless :yahoo_silent:

To answer a couple of questions..yes the front is a Comp II and have no idea why 3 was hit :idiot2:

Bendy this could well be "The black 79" you keep pestering me for :LolLolLolLol: As for the lever my options are, pre bend, double bend, straight, Team products or even something along the lines or a Honda MX

And as for this and the other 70's SE goodness at MK13....Likely not to happen :'(
