A little peek in to what possibly might be my last build.
1984/5 Rickman Freestyler & PPP Powerdisc Chromes by AFC Howell in Walsall.

They had a few frames in there today & they couldn't have been more helpful to be fair . Building it up now chuffed isn't the word !

They done a great job laying that chrome on, no yellow spots or bits missed, that I can see. Still looks wet at the moment and just needs to 30 years to get that patina look ;D
I can't wait for my bars now :)

No yellow spots at all terry, only parts that are not 100% are the bit behind where the seat post tube meets the bb casing ( & this was corroded & Behring the frame & fork standers but I expected those areas to be difficult to get right. They were worried about what I thought & honestly I'd be a really harsh critic to do so as for me it's immense .

When I had my Dp done at Hockleys, they also left a yellow'd bit under the gussett plate around the seat mast but, at that time, they were just starting to do frame sets and didn't have the small polishing kits to do it 100%. They did invest in them though and I took it back for them to 'finish' it off and it was an awesome job :coolsmiley:
My Torker bars are with them now and they are polishing them up today ready for chroming :coolsmiley:
