Ive got an early Redneck stem in blue anno which I plan to strip/polish...
Does anyone know of the correct size of the bolts? I bought some 8mm ones and the pitch on the thread is wrong....I take it they were an imperial thread??

when you say early is it a 1in shafted, 1in clamp on or 1&1/8th clamp on?
should be imperial as s&m (and profile) have used imperial till quite recently iirc

Im building my 2Hip Pork soon so im gonna need a nice stem for it....and the blue wont work at all. It might be worth me putting it up in the trade section for someone to do a swapsy but if all else fails....its gonna get stripped :'(

offers still there though Gav as a stop gap if you need it till you can bag one. Unless you're using a Supernatural 1" threaded/threadless combo, then in which case I can help you out with a stem........

Ah Thanks Dan youre a star! Im using the 1 1/8th Pork forks so I would be after a shiney stem to match a couple of shiney bits.
Ive got an Odyssey Bang stem but im just not all that feeling it really. I might put the stem up in the trade section for a couple of days to see whats about. Have you got a pic of the shiney Standard stem by any chance?

I would really love to borrow the Standard one but id get all attached to it and never find one so dont worry dude.....ill find something im sure :)
Ive gotta get cranks for the Pork anyway so its not the final piece.....as soon as I get cranks and a stem Ill be ready for building....really cant wait to complete my collection :)
