Dug this from out the back of the garage this morning, quick pump up of the tyres and she's ready for someone to ride at next weekends Grimsby/Cleethorpes cruise. Still wearing its local dealer sticker, I'm guessing an '81 going by the rims stamp and if ya got nowt nice to say, move along please........ All original except the grips......It's fookin' ace!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

It's a right bag of shit in the flesh. He almost made me ride it this afternoon! Covered in scratches it is.
He also showed me his chickens and a frog in his pond!
Bloody weirdo!
-
I take it back, anyone that keeps chickens in their pond doesn't get my respect...

I'd say its a Rampar R10
-
Andy, that's another stunning bike you got there mate :4_17_5:
That, my friend, is a rare imported Raleigh Supercross from Canada. There should be a Supercross decal on both sides of the TT. All the other decals are correct.
The Rampar R10 had a fixed seat clamp, Rampar decals on the down tube and R10 on the TT near the gusset Chris :daumenhoch:
If you ever want to let that go, the Museum is the way forward. They will eat that up :coolsmiley:
Great rare piece of history mate.
-
You're right although they're almost identical bar the seat post clamp, I think they share the same forks. It was the blue colour and gusset that reminded me of a buddy's bike in Florida... Long time ago now though :)
-
Nice, got that 70's look about it. :daumenhoch:

Nice one Rich. :daumenhoch: Just had a look at the one on the Museum, don't know why I never bothered before? :crazy2: Obviously I would never glamourize drink & drugs but in this story a few years ago, I knew the owner of it & he happened to be desperate for a few tinnies and couple of quid!!!! ;) :LolLolLolLol:
