Hi everyone one out there,
Had a really shit disaster with my bars :'(
Sent them to get powdered, to find out the strippers managed to swop the bars some how :uglystupid2:
Then the bloke so say didn't realise his bars were different :wtf:
He has now let the bars move on to a member, that I think is on here.
I know this person has bought in good faith, but also new the bars had been switched.
also a big ask to see if I can replace there money to get them back.
I had a full rickman mini freestyler ready to build for MK this year, I have sourced parts for ages and now no bars! This bike is a rare, and would be great alongside all the other builds at MK.
So please all if anyone has any further info please let me know.
Cheers Matt.

Would it help to state the area where the powdercoater/stripper is or the company name , perhaps other members have used the same company ? .
Also , are you saying the powdercoater actually sold the bars ( that weren't his to sell ) to someone ? .

holy feck, that's crazy money, mind you rickman parts seem to be going mad on ebay at mo.
A set of forks for £195 last week, although that's sort of excusable if someones had a frame for an age and been searching for a set for eons. However, someone's now jumped on the bandwagon putting a set up this week for £180 starting price.
1. I never understand why people bid things up so early in an auction if they really want it, myself I always usually have a max price in mind and if near the end of the auction it's within the limit of what I think it's worth/am prepared to spend on that day I'll have a punt.
2. Put the item on at 99p start price and see what the market is prepared to pay, or if you're fixed on price put a BIN on it.
Just my thoughts & hope this member manages to get his bars back one day, but doesn't sound too hopeful.
