Guys not sure if you are aware of this or indeed if anyone else is experiencing it but when I view the new site my CPU usage increases and the fans kick in hard on my machine.
Last night I also experienced major lag when typing - was taking like 5-10 seconds to display every typed character.
I've just checked now by closing and reopening the site and the CPU usage differed by 20%, real memory by 1GB. Obviously these numbers are huge.
What i'm using:
Macbook Pro 2.66 i7
8GB Ram
128GB SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB
OS X 10.8.3
Safari Version 6.0.3
Cheers

Not had any of the probs you're having, but then again I use a poo-hot PC....
You tried using another web browser that's a little less CPU intensive?
Failing that you could try an SMC re-set (although I'm no Mac expert having not owned one since 2001):

Using Firefox solely for Rad - 15-20% CPU, 200MB Real Memory

... yeh, must say the new site is real fast ....seems to me especially with firefox ... Using old lappy 1gb ram at the mo, and no problemo ------------------ see?

Ive not had any problems either? My laptop is full to the brim and as old as the hills and it still runs the site well. I tend to use my phone these days though as its more convenient :daumenhoch:

Firefox for me's using 3% of one core, 100mb mem.
I'm using at the mo (although it's a desktop) an i5 3570K @ 4.8 Ghz, no issues. Does yours utilise the same amount of CPU/mem on BMXMuseum?

Fast as fook on my nexus 7 :daumenhoch:
