Lost on old site so here goes again
Got this a year ago in a very sorry state way too far gone to be a survivor so the project begins

Front hub stamped mongoose shot with rust sad realy if rechromed will lose stamp

full works resto :daumenhoch: --- though i did like it before, too :laugh: Great job with the web welding -- and that pic with the bits coming back from the chromers .... 8)
.....guess topic only got 'lost' because of the capital O now in your name...? (Guess you could have that changed -> so you can edit/find old posts etc)

How exactly did you weld the webbing on the broke mag ? Seen a few mag resto jobs before and all have looked pretty good.

Had it alloy welded by a chap on are industrial est
Wasn't the best finish on weld
hence painted satin black

Macmania it was a nice chunky one and had not seen one stamped with a d in a diamond before :daumenhoch:
So had to be done
Heart n soul mate that's true got all mt dc pre or 81 calipers and cables now so a bit more at weekend 8)
