morning fellas, can the threads on a cranks spindle be re-threaded?
cheers
-
if its a female crank axle then u have two choices really
get a tap and die and cut a new thread into it and use a slightly larger bolt
or
drill it out slightly larger than the current bolt size and fit a helicoil and then u can use the original bolt size :daumenhoch:

cheers Kev its actually on the threads of the bearing race

Try a thread file. I used one on a one piece crank awhile back. Worked fine.
