if its a female crank axle then u have two choices really

get a tap and die and cut a new thread into it and use a slightly larger bolt

or

drill it out slightly larger than the current bolt size and fit a helicoil and then u can use the original bolt size :daumenhoch:

cheers Lee, just wondering if it could be repaired

redline 84 double dimple 401 spindle, might be of use to someone perhaps??  (was mine from bitd, stripped chainring side from being lazy and not keeping it tight)

Try a thread file. I used one on a one piece crank awhile back. Worked fine.
