Title: Shimano dx / mx anodised or painted?
Post by: Bfellows on August 11, 2013, 10:57 PM
I have a set of shimano mx pedals that appear to originally be gold anodised then over painted in black.  Read a couple of threads that reckon they aren't anodised, so question is do I go oven pride, or paint stripper as I need an unpainted set.

I had a friend give me a pair that sound the same as yours but blue under black
He gave them for me to paint for him
I used paint stripper on the black also removed the blue that was left :daumenhoch:

Do not use oven pride! It will eat them up as they are soft.

Paint stripper will do the job.
