Ive seen after market ones abroad on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nos-OS-BMX-Bolt-Chrome-Stem-for-Pro-Neck-Tuf-Neck-/160619335758?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2565a8904e
It's a painted stem & I thought it would work well with the build but was hoping to source some here so that i could get it done a little more quickly.

Not sure about chrome but it's Andy Rooski that can get the bolts.
He was stood talking to me when you bundled over to me on Sunday Lee - you should have asked me then and you could have met him...... :2funny:

Be interested to know how you get on, the ones in mine seem to be an odd size (slightly bigger than 6mill) so struggle with an allen key, thought about swapping em for some different ones if they exist.

Sounds imperial ;)

I've got the correct sized allen key and I think it is 1/4" from memory.
Yep, 25.4mm x 1/4 = 6.35mm so there's your answer. All oldschool Yankee stems were imperial.
