I built the rear Araya Aero today and chucked it on my Kuwi as I was pee'd at lugging around a heavy ass coaster, that I don't use, in the Skyway that was on it.
Now, do I build the front Araya and run it or leave as is ???
Input please Gentlemen and Ladies :)

:chin: I say build it and fit it , doesn't right like that

This is exactly what i need some bald tyres for Terry. :daumenhoch:
I know its not the done thing now but bitd we were always swapping bits with mates and most of my rides had odd wheels.... and bald tyres ;)
I say go with it, especially if its a rider. Proper old school ! :4_17_5:

I know what Nottz Len would say...

Aeros don't suit a freestyler, IMHO. ???
Pop the other Skyway of the back. ;)
-
pop the araya in. Be interesting to see what wins here, form vs function
-
Don't bother with BMX at all.

I got the rims in a trade deal and grabbed the hubs off of Ripster. They are purely for functionality as I ride this daily and the rear Skyway is too much to lug about with the heavy ass coaster on it. Just chucking that Araya on the back already allows me to lift the bike higher, thus improving my skill level a notch :D ;D :daumenhoch:

I knew you would love it Clint as you have we have mentioned this before :daumenhoch: It does look better in the flesh to be honest and I just love watching the polished hub spin on the Skyway when I ride it :smitten:
Just building the front Araya as we speak :) (oh, and watching the Streets of San Francisco season 3 :LolLolLolLol: )

Getting out of bed is a skill for you!

It is when I have 'ladies' to climb over to get out ;D

Death to the carpet queen! :2gunsfiring_v1:
Fook convention Terry, if you are riding it set it up how you like it :slayer:
-
I'll be honest mate, I don't ride any of the others anymore, just this one. It has the best geometry, is lightweight and rides spot on :daumenhoch:
Also got some NOS pink Tioga comp ramps coming for it too :D

This Terry.

Get another Alloy Hubbed Tuff for the rear a regular freewheel and not a coaster.
Ian

Loved this with the Skyways on Terry, got my vote for BOTM.
If you have to get rid of the Coaster Tuff I'd run the Araya's front & rear IMO.

I like the spokes, but I also like the skyways, I just can't make up my mind...there's only one way decide...FIIIIIIGHT! "bump"

I like it :daumenhoch:
No offence to any builds on here at all (as I'm including mine in on this), but there's two types of build (sort of - I'm simplifying) in all schools of bmx - the 'cookie-cut' build where they all look very samey (but still very good), and the slightly more 'off the wall' looking ones of which there's not as many.
Me own opinion is it the bad-boy rides better for not having the heavy as frank rear mag, actually looks like it was built up over time in the late 80's and is a bit less samey, then :4_17_5:
