Would it be agreeable to have a sticky listing various products that we use for resto etc with a brief explanation of its use... ???
No problem if it's deemed a silly suggestion.
-
Makes sense to me :daumenhoch:.... unlike another thread in the lounge ::)
-
Large Hammer ..... used for twatting the Mrs over the head with when she shouts to do a job none BMX related "bump"
-
I do mean slightly different things Joff 'West'!!
You know I agree Clint!!

Jam is sticky , it's good on toast while waiting for the grips to boil .

Where would it end though Rich? Would you be interested in the parts used to resto a 95 Haro Sport?
And as people all resto their bikes with various parts.....would you be wanting perhaps the original spec list for each bmx?
Or is it just old school 80's? :daumenhoch:

Ahhhh I see...
Well thats not so complicated Rich, and indeed a good sticky for reference purposes :daumenhoch:

Great idea rich !!! Be good to have a reference of lots of chemically stuff

at least some of those are in this section already
http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/board,32.0.html
I usually look in most threads on here, just clicking on the 'show unread posts' button to see what I missed but that folder is a goldmine for info.
If there's something not in there that you think should be get your nominations in :daumenhoch:

Good idea...its the little tricks that you wouldn't really think of that would be good to list...like using toothpaste to polish a powdered frame.
-
So will mr muscle spray foam oven cleaner strip the ano of me kkt pedals? If only a dedicated sticky thread existed ???

What I'm suggesting doesn't exist. It would be a quick reference of all products listed alphabetically with a brief explanation of its use & anyone could add products that are not included.

Knock one up in alphabetical order, remember to include pictures and maybe links to where you can get it, then pm griff and ask him to sticky it. As and when it needs amending you can just edit the post, you can be the sticky liquid moderator. :daumenhoch:
