Title: kuwahara kz-1 which decals
Post by: kalex on September 05, 2013, 11:11 PM: i've got an 81 kz-1 frame set which i think i'm going to have refinished in white

but i can't work out which are the correct decals for it as i've seen a few white frames with different one's. or are they both correct

solid black lettering

that's handy as i've got an old set of black outlined packed away somewhere, just missing one decal though i think

So are both ok to use as all the white 81's I saw didn't have the red one

Look at the month letter on your serial number (3rd along) if its A-C it would most likely have the first set of decals that Rich put up with the Hinomaru before the K not above it

it's an April 81, but haven't seen many with the red larger decals.

not saying there arn't any just i haven't seen any
