Are these easy to convert from loose to sealed bearings ?? cheers guys :daumenhoch:

Not easy, I bought some silver raleigh branded suzue hubs with the intension of having them anodised blue for a pro burner.
I couldn't get them out, three guys have tried since me & all thrown the towel in.
I think the suntour loose ball are different widths to their sealed bearing version too. With the sealed having those ali cone covers .

It can be done, but by the looks of it you cant just do a strait swap. More info here.

I've done it to Perry high flange sealed mech to sealed. Obv don't know about the low flange Suzue hubs but if they're the same hub shell it should work so long as you have the seald hub axle kit.
The pain is getting the loose-ball cups out of the hub shell. If you're lucky they overhang inside the hub so you can belt em out - if not it's delicate grinding time with a dremel. Pain in the arse tbh and unless the sealed hubs are mega expensive not worth the hassle :)

I cant find the thread on the Museum, but a guy on there said he put the hub shells in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes until they were super hot. After that he took them out and apparently the cups smacked out real easy. Might be worth a try.
