Title: Stepped washers
Post by: Kaner on September 13, 2013, 06:04 PM
Gents

I need some stepped washers for my Haro FST forks.

Does anyone know where I can get them from?

I tried the ones out of my graphite skyways but they were too big.

Help!

Here is the problem:

Ordered!

I didn't think these would work as the Skyway ones don't fit, I will give it a go though.

That's not what you need, unless someone's vandalised your forks - those are for running 10 mm axles in 14 mm dropouts

Damn Ben, I sold a set of the proper Haro dropout washers a while back now but can't remember who to  :-[

I don't have any pic left of them either so you know what they look like, sorry mate.

You need Haro dropout savers  :daumenhoch:

doubt any bmx shops will have em , probs best trying road bike shops , or even moped shops

here's the Ausi one would have thought they would bung a few in the post  :daumenhoch: bottom left  :daumenhoch:

No mate. The ones I had actually came with the Haro when I bought it many moons ago now  :)

You don't think at the time but I should have had a few sets made up  :-\

I guess GT ones or SE ones might work though  ???

Won't these fit?
It does say for other forks too, I bought some for my natty cruiser forks & they fitted spot on.

Yeah I know what you mean, when these arrived though I gotta admit I was just over the moon knowing the dropouts were protected / supported so a tenner I was totally ok with.

Vertigo won't let you link to sub category sections so if that's what you meant to do which one were you looking at?

If you did mean to link to the bmx home page as you have, then I can only see flex fighters about halfway down, for stems not axles ?

They will probably go up when you add them to the cart, everything magically goes up on that site when added to the cart.  :Aresehole:

Thanks for the offer Rob but I should be sorted now. Tommy (breakdancer) kindly offered me a set.

The 14<10mm definitely don't fit.
