Title: Skyway TA gurus

I've got the chance of a rough chrome TA , it's a USA made 84 according to the bb
What I want to know is the differences between the K series serial numbers and the curved
rear brake bridge models etc

k series were the early made in japan ones mike
most 84's I have seen are straight brake bridge inc all the xl's as they only made the xl in 84
the curved brake bridge was less susceptable to crushing like the straight one was so made a comeback for the 85 and the last of the ta's in 86

Cheers Dave this one has got a straight brake bridge , and I don't think it's an XL as the top tube is about 18.5" :)

Yes, 84's are straight brake bridges  :)
