I know Oven Pride is the tried and tested way or removing annodising but just wondering if anyone has tried the Mighty Oven Cleaner from Poundland  ???

I bought some shaving foamy type stuff in a can from the pound shop that worked just as well so yes go for it :daumenhoch:

If it doesn't work, you've only wasted a quid. Try it, and let us know the results  :daumenhoch:

I used some of that, but for some strange reason, I cleaned the oven with it!!

It seemed to work better than Oven pride too, but that was on dead pizza and misc. fat based food stuffs.

Gotta be worth a go.

Caustic soda granules

About 250grams for a quid from the cheapo shops

Sainsbury's value costic soda, about a pound? Mix it with water in a large tub and chuck your rims in, it should bubble and leave a residue on them, clean it off with wire wool, Bingo.
