Very nice and looks all original :)

Nice one ...... I almost missed that "wantit" :daumenhoch:
-
Description is killer, he's really selling it. Although that's at a good price already....
-
I paid £30 for a mint one of those on ebay in 2003... ah, the good old days.
-
nice example :)
-
I might be wrong, but im sure I saw one of these go for around £120 on the bay yesterday. Wasn't as clean as this on but looked exactly the same.
-
Not up on the high end Raleigh's but maybe one of the Raleigh experts can answer
Is it rare and is it worth that type of money ?
:daumenhoch:
-
Pro Race Pete. Was the Aero Pro model they realeased to celebrate Craig Schofield winning the 85 World Champs. Nice looking survivor, and will go maybe a leeetle bit higher but most likely some fookin knobhead on the internet will win it and flip it in parts like a proper cünt with no mates. :daumenhoch:
-

:daumenhoch:
Not overly rare, but deffo worth £500 - it has about £1K's worth of flipping value in it, pending condition of components of course :coolsmiley:

Obvs thought he heard his name. :LolLolLolLol:
Just to add, same spec as the aero pro burner just stickered different. Some people don't like to share info. ;)

Killing the love of BMX over money greed :tumbleweed:

Bendy.
There are many arguments to such a subject matter, there is of course your point of view which I respect;
However, I simply see it as supplying a service to all the fantastic bike builders out there, assisting them with quality parts and competitive prices, thus being the key middle man in helping them finish their builds 8)

That is your opinion which I respect 8)
But if one single bike can help another 15 - 20 people complete their builds, every one's a winner :daumenhoch:

There's only one winner.....flippers.
And I'm sure you don't do it for the fact that your helping lots of builders fulfil their needs.
Just the thought of lining your own pocket.
Anyway this subject has been done to death and this isn't what the original poster wanted to talk about...but that's my thoughts on the matter.
Flippers........fooking w4nkers more like.

i do think its a shame to break up these good survivor bikes up :-\.
they getting few and far between and only complete once.
-
Yes as Steve said let's not have what seems like every thread descend into a 'flipping' squabble...

I do tend to agree with you, but one of the attractions of the Raleigh brand is that they were mass produced in such numbers, by the time the supply depletes, the hobby will be dead any way.
-
In the grand scheme of things who gives a shit about any of this flipping...?
Your families are more important.

Its only a bike.

cos the parts that should be a certain price are pushed up by flipper's Rich - that's why proper bmx collectors give a Shit :daumenhoch:
-
Just in the pub with the lads checking in on here. Pubs full of sound geezers that get on but some random nobber came in a bit ago and farted and is still sat by the bar. He was barred a while ago and is barred from other boozers, not sure why he is allowed back in here mind. His stench is still lingering like a festering dead rat. Sorry to go of topic but felt i needed to share that. :-\

I personally, Admin aside, am getting sick and tired of all this bollox, and its even stopping me coming on rad at the moment, in fear that I get wound up.
Rad isn't the place it used to be and it doesn't help with you lot bickering all the time, can't you just respect our hobbie and put your differences aside.
Your pissing most people off including me.

Here is a pic of one of the survivor Pro Races I had last month which I trust will give the OG poster and a few others a better visual aid of the bike on the ebay listing :daumenhoch:
(http://i1314.photobucket.com/albums/t568/bufta2/1984%20Pro%20Race%20Ebay%20400/IMG_2108_zpsb91ad38d.jpg) (http://s1314.photobucket.com/user/bufta2/media/1984%20Pro%20Race%20Ebay%20400/IMG_2108_zpsb91ad38d.jpg.html)
They are a lovely bike not to be looked down upon, I would guess the one on ebay will go for circa £650.00 ish as it looks all there minus the front reflector :)
-
SO would this be the F&F that Ruffell rode ?
-
Its a Tange aero pro frame and forks Pete. Very nicely made as Raleigh had nowt to do with them :LolLolLolLol:
They are a very nice bike, I prefer the chrome ones to the team coloured ones
-
Talking about Andy ruffell.......does anyone know what model the red and white ammaco he had when he was presenting bmx beat?
-
SO would this be the F&F that Ruffell rode ?
Yep. Same frame from 83. Tange made dressed in top end bits for 12 year olds. Ruffells was obviously custom higher end but thats the frame.

Ta :daumenhoch:

Can someone explain to me why Raleigh builds always have to have reflectors on them?
I get that they left the factory like that, but then so did every other bike
-
i think its because most the burner boys go for a total factory spec our griff.
me i ripped em off as soon as i got home before people laughed lol.

Same here Dave
It does seem to be a burner thing though, I suppose if your build gets marked down on burner sites then that will perpetuate it....
-
Seriously the Tange made Burners are awesome. End of. The Nottingham stuff is unrideable garbage

so that's a yes then, thought so

The flekkies on the pro range burners were supplied with the bike unfitted.
-
Survivors should be kept survivors specially when they are as good as that, if you split a crappy one far enough.

Interesting replies, but the bidding seems a little strange on it? ???
-
Bidding looks okay, just looks like that as the person winning at the mo has probably been upping his max bid so it registers auto bids (i believe) ???
