is there a dedicated site where I can convert the serial number and find out all I need to know? I'm kind of new to rebuilding.....seem to buy more parts to keep in my garage than to actually rebuild bikes, but I'll get round to them soon......probably "help"
-
it's not open sesame, but might help you ->http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=528632&p=1
...bit i think the serial number does'nt even state the model. ???
-
cheers man....still none the wiser though, just got a headache!.....that link is a minefield!
-
as i said, guess its hard to get lotsa info outta the serial. You can post it in that thread and let the pros do their thing.
What is your serial? And what you wanna fnd out?
-
not sure what model it is, or the year....though think it's possibly '99 due to one of the serial numbers
59BT52245 and it's also got P9904 stamped
-
99 think so , too, but model....pics please!
also hav looksky at this Talk Dyno thread ->http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=429280 :teef:
i know, it hurts ;D
oh, all dyno models here ->http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/dyno/ .....start with 1999
dyno Refernce thread ->http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=538921
and according to that "59BT52245" coul also stand for 5 for the production line. 9 for the year 1989. B for the 2nd month February.

i'll get a pic taken of her tomorrow.....been looking through the gallery on the museum and i'd say it's not a '99....my head is hurting!
