Ok since the (new Rad) came about i really have not a clue where to post this so it's in here (mods) please feel free to move.
A good friend of Mine Darren Robinson just posted this up on Facebook, Daren worked at Phaze 7 Distribution back in the day & was part owner of A4 distribution responsible for bringing in Etnies E's & Emerica Shoes in to the UK along with a bunch of Snowboard brands including A'boards & Sessions clothing through the mid 90's until just a few years ago.
The photo was taken by (Si Ward) at Rom Skatepark I'm guessing (Circa 1984-86) judging by the fact there's a twin top tube in the background & owner is wearing a Nike Windrunner (but it's just a guess), Ive not checked this with Darren.
Riders name is (Eric Steel) & looking at this shot he is the Epitome or Radness !!!!
This is Darren's description:
Eric perfecting his version of the Wilton air ! Many attempts were not perfected and ended in performance bowl carnage. One of Eric Steels many adaptations from street to bowl from skate to BMX. Handplants, rock n rolls, disasters etc to name but a few. Eric invented his own shit and inspired others to do the same. Im trying to locate the acid drop photo from the multi story car park ! Handplants and other such shit was secretly attempted on Robbo's ramp in my back garden before throwing it down in public. Legend.

I remember it Spen but couldn't find it anywhere so thought i'd share it here.
Wasn't sure to post it here or (Freestyle flicks & Pics & chat) ???
Not a criticism (maybe it is) but the new Rad just seems that little bit (over segmented) it's the same when posting build threads as there's some in General chat Some in Tech & resto & others in Old school Freestyle or old school race etc obviously i'm not alone otherwise these things would not be all over the place .

Yeah i think he worked on the distribution side, long time ago i forgot how it was spelt although i can still remember the red logo from the mags back in the day.

great pic cal, shows the young uns how you had to practice bitd. We didn't have foam pits to land in as my many trips to a+e proved :slayer:

We still fall off today. ... but that's because we're as crap now as we were back then :2funny:
