That's the reason I asked Dan , to me they have a very slight sheen ,,like a satin black
But I ve seen the original Raleigh spec,,states Matt :-\

I know, I've seen that spec sheet before, I still went for satin. :-\

When I built my Mk1 Burner I used satin black on the forks and bars. It was the closest finish to the original :daumenhoch:

Deffo Satin...
I think one of the brochures states Semi-Gloss? (but I may have made that up).
