went in a local bike shop yesterday mainly to buy two scooters for my boys,
but as i was in there i asked the chap on the counter if they sell skyway wheels,
i got the prompt replie NO >:(, he then tells me they can get them but there crap
and always have problems, and there only copies and just have the brand name of skyway,
is this true i no theres lots on ebay that say there skyway but arnt :-\

He is a chocolate teapot and survives on mint leaves, nettle tea and grass (garden variety) whilst co-habiting with the local foxes in a large box in Victoria Park. He begs for money just to pay for his monthly mobile phone charges.
As for the Skyway's, I personally think they are okay but I also think they use inferior sealed bearings that don't last long. :)

aside from the use of sealed bearings and the fookin annoying reflector hole i thought they were the same as they used to be , same compounds etc ?
, got a couple of sets of the new ones and they do seem a little more flexie than i remember the old ones , but i am 6 stone heavier than i was when i last had an og set :-[ :LolLolLolLol:

Skyways are still cool. :coolsmiley:
I would only buy the reissue ones which were made pre 2006 with front flat axles. :daumenhoch:

I got my last couple of sets from Parkers of Bolton for 65 quid. Not sure if they are the best or the cheapest but they have them. Here is a link:
