I think that was the time custom riders sold static ones as well.
-
the static ones came a little later around 1997 and look almost identical to the rgd ones and were also made in the uk so im thinking custom riders were involved with static somehow

Yep - Custom Riders owned the Static brand :daumenhoch:

i've had a couple of the rgd ones in the past like the ones above, the problem i had with them was the pinch screw head used to snap off if you tightened it too much. it must have happened to a lot as they changed them to a grub screw type after a while. i'm sure i still have an rgd one kicking around with the grub screws. i'll try and look it out.

cool cheers Danny I thought they were both the same
cheers John that would be great :daumenhoch:

I know the static ones were in house. I'm not sure if they were made by Roy green devolopments or not.
I'm thinking a lot of the static stuff is exactly the same as RGD but made by someone else, as Roy decided to stop making bits. But I may be wrong. Got to say both companies produced some great parts. :daumenhoch:

Mason at Custom Riders sold, and was involved with as far as I remember, RGD as far back as the 80's, remember the stems & spinners? Static was CR's house brand :daumenhoch:
I've got somewhere One of the first lot of Primo Perverts that came out, but for the life of Me I can't remember when I bought it! I'm sure it was post '95 though, I'm guessing '96.

Didn't they also make them forks that were almost identical to Standards?
