Title: BMX Race Track in Kendal, Cumbria anyone?

First post but a fellow BMXtalk poster recommended I post on here so hope thats ok :)

At the moment there is a big gap between Preston and Glasgow for proper BMX race tracks, theres a few pump tracks etc dotted around but no racing. I think this is a real shame so was wondering if there are any other like minded people in the area that would be interested in campaigning for a track?

And also any advice would be welcome from anyone that has achieved it in their own area (including don't bother!).

It would be a massive help if everyone on here could 'like' the page. The more likes we get the easier the conversations will be with the council, planners etc when the time comes. Heres the page:
