Need to fit a set of twin pinch flights to a new TA 24". It has a euro bb. If I buy a euro bb , will the spindle from the flights go straight in & am I right in thinking its 19mm.
Sorry if this sounds a bit thick but it's not my bike & I don't want the lad to buy the wrong gear!
Cheers H

Euro BB is not 19mm Mark. US BB''s are 19mm.
Euro BB's are threaded.

Sorry , still confused :idiot2:
I know the euro is threaded, but when looking at the euros for sale they are sold as 19mm or 22mm? I thought this was the spindle diameter?

Andy, Mark is correct.
He means the spindle diameter is 19mm and yes as long as the flights are new ones it will fit.
If it's an 80's one then it might not as they were imperial not metric. I have both sorts and they are definitely different.

It is Mark.
19mm euro will be fine.
22 is generally for the likes of primo hollowbites and other heavy duty NS stuff.
