Hi I am going to be building an Aluminium Race Inc RA 10 soon does anyone have any info of the parts it might have had or better still any pictures of the RA 10 please.
It is the model without the gussets and has the 13/16" Seatpost instead of the regular 7/8". It is like the looptail Rippers but with round tubing and has the same rear end.
Anything you might have or may know would be much appreciated thanks.
Thanks in advance from bodamus ;)

Bod, tony bmx796 might be able to help

Didn't Kelly have a mint one of those?
-
Stuntmaster has 2 of them, give him a shout.

The kits consisted of Frame & Forks, Race Inc bars, Race Inc seatpost, Xcaliber Seatclamp (looks like a Falcon, or Tuf-Neck).
I haven't ordered from here myself, but might be worth enquiring if you need the seatpost or forks:
Seatpost (http://www.bmx-onlineshop.de/index.html?d_23202_Race_Inc__Seatpost_RSP_14MP1167.htm)
Forks (http://www.bmx-onlineshop.de/index.html?d_21203_Race_Inc__RF_2_Forks2205.htm)
Race Inc stopped trading in '84 I think, so components should be prior to this date if you want to keep it era-correct.
Many pics on various threads on the site across the pond, have a search.

You're welcome,
About those forks, they're dated circa '81 and I know they came with the RA6 ('Standard' frame, a Junior by today's sizes), but not sure what type came with the RA10.
Race Inc also did leading-edge type forks (look very similar to Landing Gears), it may have been this type - you might want to check if your build has to be absolutely correct.
Plenty Race Inc bars appear on Ebay, but it's a case of trusting the seller, as you'll no doubt know there are still many 'Race Inc-type' straight and v-bar models available new.
The leading-edge forks appear occasionally on Ebay, though they tend to attract quite a few bids.
I'm after an Xcaliber myself, again they appear occasionally on Ebay - I should probably have asked if they would ship to UK as the ones I've seen so far say US only.
For padsets I read that retrobmx might do them.

the landing gear type forks are correct for ra10 as i have a set and if you look at the 24 inch raceinc they are the same on them . . the raceinc were also sold as just ff as my mate bough one new bitd

From BMX Action April 1982. Not an RA10, but plenty of nice Race Inc products to look at.

Can tell you're really putting on the power there for the finish, great pic.
That must have been a light bike to race.

It weighed 18 pounds at it lightest, but it was also a bit weak for me as it broke by the front gusset ::)

if me memory serves me correct
