Title: brake bridge
Post by: J4CK on October 27, 2013, 09:43 PM
where can I get a decent brake bridge ( I think that is what you call it)
my one isn't wide enough. it means that the cable going from the brake rubs on the frame.
I haven't really found any for sale.

I think you mean the straddle? The triangular hooked mount that hole the cable from both sides of the u brake and clamps on to the rear brake cable.

If you fit a longer straddle cable between the u brake arms you can normally get past the seat post without the cable rubbing. Get some pics up.  :daumenhoch:
