Any of you guys know what year these Powerlite bars came out? My guess is about 95 as these were the bars that Brian Castillo rocked and based his signature bars on which i think came out in 96/97?
I think there may have been a couple of versions, including an oversize model but am not sure.

They're in the new stuff section of Dec95/Jan96's Ride mag, so prolly came out real late on '95.

Thanks for the info Danny. If anyone knows of a pair, I maybe interested.

When I get chance to root round me tat I'll have a look for you - I did have some that came on a bike I bought, but may have given em away a couple of years back :(

Thanks Danny, appreciate it :daumenhoch:

They where my fav bars in the whole world bitd! Only bars I could ride with! Loved em so much!

Pretty sure Scott Malyon rode a set of these for years as well. The mellow bend and the having the cross bar welded so high up made then pretty strong as well.

All the union lot use to run them aswell

A bloke I know who used to have a bike shop has a few nos mid school bits left. I just bought some early DK 4 piece and a set of Hoffman low drag of him. He had some powerlite 4 piece but I think they had a straight crossbar, I will go have a look. He also had an original Volume Hellion Frame and some Primo Cranks TNT sprockets and a few other bits but I cant remember what. :crazy2:
