Title: Panda Charger 2
Post by: pickle on November 10, 2013, 04:11 PM
Picked this frame, forks, crank and headset bundle up at MK from mr smooths stall of cheapness.

Been putting it together on a real budget but loved how its come together. It has a bit of an issue inside the seat tube and the seat tube is a right git to fit down, been working a file down inside but I need to get a new seat post and levers as one of mine is broken and loose.

Work in progress but loving it and plan to race it at MK14  :daumenhoch:

Weighs a fair bit and I'm not exactly sure what year its from, I hazard a guess at about 81  ???

funny thing is Rob , i had wanted a panda charger II since looking through action bike mags as a kid , and i never ever saw one
I couldnt believe it when Jai said he had quite a few of them and was selling them really cheap , so after years of looking about ten all turned up at once  :LolLolLolLol:

(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/i99/poolysheriff/C037A2C4-7D0E-4E79-BF60-E607B6DB549D-10193-00000DAF7B2A5A81_zpsa03e958f.jpg) (http://s70.photobucket.com/user/poolysheriff/media/C037A2C4-7D0E-4E79-BF60-E607B6DB549D-10193-00000DAF7B2A5A81_zpsa03e958f.jpg.html)

So i got this one , but it does have the original bars , levers , stem and grips , you just cant see them in the pic  :daumenhoch:

Look like it has great geometry on it, i can see you banging your knees though as it looks a very short frame.

Like what was posted above, more of these low end bikes are coming out to play and it's great. My two Halfords Turbos are the same. It's nice to see them.
