Post by: Cazzabaz on November 11, 2013, 08:39 PM
Hi there, just found 31 year old Suntour Vx cranks anodized in blue, i would like to have them finished in polished silver for my Kuwi laserlite project, has anybody ever used oven cleaner or caustic soda to remove the anodize......any tips would be welcome
Cheers

What state is the blue? You might find someone with a silver set that wants to swap......

You'd be surprised mate, a lot of folks go for the survivor look. Be worth a try before you strip em'.  :daumenhoch:
