Post by: oldschoolace on November 21, 2013, 05:20 PM

That's a crap picture, I don't think it's an Aero Pro, hard to say without seeing the dropouts, the seat tube looks wrong, it's shaped on an AP. :daumenhoch:

I was going to say Rob, check the 'non existent' seat clamp and the round brake bridge  :daumenhoch:

That 'could' possibly be one of the very rare Raleigh team issue frames that were Reynolds 531 and had a built in seat clamp. Only ever seen the team colour ones but a Burner expert will be along shortly I'm sure.

Hmmm its described as original condition in the ad and the fact that the fleckies are still on there could support that but i am no expert. Did they do any early anniversary models or owt like that?  :-\

sorry the pic is bobbins guys, the other pics in the ad are the same angle and just close ups  ::)

There's usually a very good reason why people don't show full pics or just happen to have the part of the item out the photo that will tell you what it is.

I don't recognise the decals or the frame.

Is it for sale in the US... as they have some odds and sods models?

Its for sale in france and yes they could be hiding something with bobbins pics but there is a full shot, the same angle though so the rear end is impossible to make out outher than its not a loopy.

The question is has anyone ever seen a burner with canti brakes - limites edition/hand made one off or otherwise?
They are obviously "factory" installed  ???

also, and the biggest question, why would someone want to replicate a burner to the levels they have if this isn't made by Raleigh?
The asking price doesn't indicate a scammer trying to pull a fast one  ???

That ain't no Reynolds. Its probably a 90's cheap POS with some repop decals made to look like a Burner of some sort.
