Title: Hello, Im new on here, 43 and still riding
Post by: koderx on November 21, 2013, 06:01 PM: Started BMXing in the early eighties, My first BMX was a Chrome & Black Team Murray, which was made of lead!
After i snapped the metal Mag wheels 3 times my local bike shop finally give me a discount on some OGK 5 spoke wheels
This made it a lot lighter, Then i snapped the frame, spent more pocket money on an unbranded aero frame and forks,
This made it even lighter still, We used to go to the local skate park in custom house, and the Eastway (which is now where the olympic park is) , Plus the Rom in Romford and a track over in woolwich and leyes road in custom house
We also had a lot of building sites around and even the Beckton alps ski slope before it was finished
I have Broke my collar bone, coccyx, ribs, ripped my shins off, fractured my cheek bone, you just have to jump back on
I now ride a Raleigh Aero and a Peugeot CPX351 and i am rebuilding a Mongoose California for my brother
Would like to know any good tracks near dagenham area, also have see pics of other peoples nice rides, if i want to upload some pictures of my ride, do i need photobucket?

Post by: koderx on November 21, 2013, 10:03 PM: I thought it was some kind of Modern bmx slang ;D im from the era of BunnyHops, Kickouts and Endoes, i can still do most of the tricks too, But instead of my mum saying "you are going to break your neck one day!" my girlfriend says "you are going to break your neck one day!", Nothing changes does it?
