Well my first BMX since the 80's has arrived today (85 haro) courtesy of a bit of money and Nick - great packing thank you. Got a couple of things needed to finish it, have not had time to take it out the box yet so will open it when back in the office tomorrow.

On the look out for a diamond back, had a couple of mails from the Rad members on them so keep them coming if you have one for sale either now or in the future.

(I can hear JT thinking as he sees this - that bloody lego model)
Here you go, Jango Fett, origonal shop model, one of twelve made by Lego corp, only 11 left which are all owned by lego still apart from this one. Only two made with light and sound and this is one of them, it spent most of its life at Hamleys.

How the hell did you get hold of that Lego model :D , is there a story behind it ???

Hi All,
I tried to buy him at an auction but it did not make its reserve, thankfully I was able to get hold of the owner and make a deal.
You are not allowed to buy these things but they of course do get into the public domain. The older they are though the harder they are to get. They made life sized versions of the main characters of starwars from episodes 4-6 but as below they only made about 12 of each. In the case of mine they did make 12 with only two of them with light and sound and mine is one of them. Some of the moderns ones they make about 50 of each so no where near as rare.
I have a letter from the lego corporation giving permission to gift Jango to the person I bought it from. He has a very cool job title as he is a "certified lego professional" he had helped Lego and Hamleys on a number of occasions and his reward was Jango.
I got him for what I think is an amazing price, I have been offered incredible sums to buy him off me, offers which have made me think but I will have course never be able to buy one again. I hope I never have to sell him, he really is an amazing thing and i love peoples comments on him.
