Bought this on the bay .
It's a NOS Viscount dominator with guts, it's branded at the front (Bikeway Aero) & branded (Viscount) at the back & stamped Viscount 2166 Made in Taiwan. underneath.
I know they did these rebranded seats for Kewahara amongst others Ive seen a few of these on the bay in the USA but who are Bikeway ???? Never heard of them before.??????????

Never seen that before but it must be some sort of repop, the bar code on the label gives it away if nothing else.

I have a Viscount 2169 with Bikeway Aero stamped on it.
Viscount 2169 seats were sold as Viscount seats but major manufacturers could buy them with their company emblazoned on them.
You can see the writing on the side of the seat at the top of the seat post.

Here is a Viscount 2169 in its more common form

It would therefore make sense that Bikeway Aero is a company who paid for such a privilege.
IN NO WAY A REPOP

Here's some info on the company looks like they were distributors, they were in business 30 years ago and don't exist anymore.

Must have started putting bar codes on products much early in the US.

Here's another Kewie Viscount, I know it was & i guess still is common practice for seat manufacturers to make lines for other brands. Kashimax aeros were put on Raleigh bikes. Viscount definitely made seats for GT & Kewie & as you can see from the images below no date stamps were our on these seats.
I just think its really cool that there are some of these thing out there that differ from what we are used to seeing.
