This is a pic of my new resto, you will either love it or hate it (adam :loser:)
I had one when I was a kid (11), been trying to find one for many years, and then one appeared at Grill N Chill this year for £30.00.
Will keep you all posted on the resto!!

Bargain that Mick! I only ever remember seeing one of these bitd.  I got mine off ebay as a complete for £31 collected from Derby. Only ever seen a few of these for sale. There was a good one in Northern Ireland on ebay and gumtree, but he wouldn't post it. There was also a white one on ebay just over a year ago.

This is a pic of the Irish one

(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/af3/dancetothedrummersbeat/peugeot/PeugeotBlackLion250BMX.jpg) (http://s988.photobucket.com/user/dancetothedrummersbeat/media/peugeot/PeugeotBlackLion250BMX.jpg.html)

and here's the ebay pic of the one I bought..

I preferred the Blue/yellow scheme. I tweaked the colour scheme a bit to my taste, and mine has had upgrades, so it's not stock (the stock bike weighed a ton!).  Am very pleased with it though...

Can't wait to see yours done Mick - I know you'll do a great job :)

Looks like there were slight differences from year to year in these bikes. The one I bought had bars with a straight crossbar. The bars must have been original, as mine came with a red vinyl bar pad. The forks on mine have a dropout as part of the fork - sort of like a lego man's hand, where as yours and the Irish ebay one have bladed forks. Not major differences, but differences all the same.

I haven,t been on here much lately but have been spending a very wet day catching up with peoples builds
i did see this Peugeot black lion at volksworld but i didn't know who's it was .
i actually bought the one that was on gumtree up in the north of Ireland (i live down south) the seller was not interested in posting it but it turned out that he was only 30 miles away from a mate of mine who went up and collected it for me . i picked it up a few weeks later .its in good survivor condition so for now i will leave it that way all i did to it was pump the tires and rode it around the yard

Great score on getting that one from Ireland. Like i said, it was listed on ebay a few years ago but didn't sell. He refused to post (even though i'd be paying the postage). The same story when
I saw it on gumtree.  Really pleased you got your hands on it. Only ever seen a few of these bikes cropping up.

The serial number on the BB of mine is CPX-04-22129

(http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af3/dancetothedrummersbeat/peugeot/P1080043_zpse699cf85.jpg) (http://s988.photobucket.com/user/dancetothedrummersbeat/media/peugeot/P1080043_zpse699cf85.jpg.html)

Any idea what this means? 1984 due to the 04? The earliest I remember seeing one of these bitd was 1984, so that would fit. Any thoughts?....

The dropouts on mine look like this:
